KRebels Utilize the NFT Technology to Raise Awareness for the Protection of Koalas

Over the past decade, over 400 animal and plant species have faced extinction, wiped away from the earth’s surface either due to environmental factors, loss of habitat or human activities such as hunting, deforestation, pollution, urban encroachment, among others. After minting their unique token, KRebels owners will be able to evolve their Koala in the digital Metaverse by bartering for products like eucalyptus, wood, accessories, among others. They will also be able to improve their habitat, form a family. Collectors also stand to earn as their Koala develops. “The more their Koala will develop, the more it increases its rarity rate. The rarer it is, the more valuable it becomes, the more likely it is to earn a monthly and lifetime income for their owner,” the team behind the project explained.
