As the years go by, technology has swiftly evolved into what we see today. Not only has it made work so much easier for many industries, but technology has also provided more job opportunities to tech-savvy people. However, nothing goes without complications, and sometimes technology goes into disarray. Capitol Presence is a company that has devoted its services to help businesses run smoothly.

Capitol Presence is a woman-owned small business based in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Two former Federal employees founded them, Halie Edwards and Roy Edwards, who worked in Health and Human Services within the Operations, Legal, QMS, and Technical divisions, giving them the experience and knowledge of how the government works and areas it needs more assistance with.

Halie Edwards, with a background in Federal Legal divisions, is a Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist and engages with clients to drive the adoption of cloud services that enable increased efficiency, collaboration, and security within an organization’s 0365 environments. Roy Edwards holds AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, four AWS Accreditations, and four Microsoft certifications in Azure. He has been developing websites and integrating softwares for over fifteen years. With an extensive background in the cloud, they have been integrating applications for businesses and the Government in the cloud for nearly two decades.

Capitol Presence is an agile implementation & solutions agency that specializes in reducing stress and automating business processes. Their focus is on helping organizations communicate effectively and work more efficiently together to complete their mission. Capitol Presence aims to help businesses, no matter the size, eliminate waste, develop push-button solutions, and save time & money. The company helps its clients remove multiple applications that function the same and free up space.

The company prides itself in following the federal or local government’s security and regulations. Having been federal employees, they have an understanding of how the government and their regulation works, and how to help organizations abide by these regulations. Capitol Presence has defined new and innovative ways to do business with modern technology. They have built with the leading technology in the industry, attended the world’s leading innovation conferences, and specialized in helping organizations built on tradition — adapt to new innovative processes.

Capitol Presence methodologies go through a process that allows their clients to move faster, get to market quicker, and save money. They conceptualize and create the methods to help them get to where they want, see what they’re working on and the applications used, and provide training to help their client’s organization safely migrate through the Microsoft universe. When they complete the process, Capitol Presence eliminates software waste to allow their clients to get work done.

In 2016, President Roy Edwards was given the iCARE Award for Integrity from Veteran Affairs in the Federal Government for Outstanding SharePoint Support for Capitol Presence’s process and methodology. He also received Special Citations from members of the Office of Generic Drugs in the Food and Drug Administration. Hearing about their awards and work, businesses have been seeking out their services.

In an industry where only 5% of tech cloud startups are women-owned, Capitol Presence has made its name for disrupting the industry with its new methodology. They are hoping to continue making an impact on businesses around the country.
